  1. Baseball star Elijah finally ends his sham of a marriage, finally ready to move forward and be true to himself He just so happens to meet his soul mate to help him realize the possibilities for him to live as a gay man Growing up in a strict religious family with his father as a preacher, Elijah needs to open his mind to what his heart has always known When he meets Wesley, he knows he can t wait any longer. This book was confusing on so many levels the first 20 pages are so were definitely the h [...]

  2. Finally, you find the man of your dreams Time to bring home Mr Right to your parents, right Not so if you also happen to be a star baseball player and son of a reverend Elijah finally meets the person who is his soul mate, Wesley Wesley is an artist and a son of a famous rockstar When these two meet, it s magic At least, in Mr Steele s world where there are psychics and gay haters mingled among the religious fundamentalist I like Elijah and Wesley Both were characters I could really get into Eli [...]

  3. There are no words to describe how awful the dialogue is in this book Here s my review over at Jessewave reviewsbyjessewave 201

  4. Originally posted at whippedcream2 201Elijah can never let anyone know his true nature because it would devastate his family and end his career Yet one look at Wesley and Elijah knows he is the perfect man to dominate him Wesley is so comfortable with who he is anyone would be drawn to him It is not often a character knows who they are and what they want so completely I really loved Wesley Too bad he s gay because if I thought I could, I would steal him away from Elijah and lock him in my closet [...]

  5. Deviant Diva Rating ThreeHeat Rating Spark Manning Up was an engrossing tale that dealt with not only a budding, passionate relationship but the prejudices of being gay, especially as a high profile individual Elijah and Wesley had a fiery, undeniable passion for each other that was difficult to hide Obligations, societal opinion, and inner turmoil were an everyday occurrence for Elijah while Wesley s bohemian lifestyle allowed him freedom creatively and spiritually This tale explored both the [...]

  6. 1 star actually less, as I did not care enough about these characters or their story to finish Cover Typical chestiness, with Chicago in the background so you get the locale One guy with a chain, so you get that maybe there s some BDSM involved s Elijah, a closeted baseball player Wesley, an artist, I think 3rd person alternating POV s Confession I Did Not Finish this book The dialog was stilted, especially in the sex scenes I did not like having a woman masturbate while watching the men have se [...]

  7. Really good and very steamy love story revolving around a submissive baseball player and a dominant artist with psychic abilities Although the dialogue was a bit stilted at times and the story a bit rushed at others, it was a very satisfying read with enjoyable characters.
